Influence of base material particle features on petrophysical properties of synthetic carbonate plugs

Rocks with representative physical and chemical properties are essential to understanding fluid-solid flow behaviors at the pore scale. In this way, studying space characteristics is a key point for evaluating providing petrophysical distinct rock types, such as synthetic rocks, controlled like natural ones. This work studies of carbonate plugs novel approach by correlating particle size, size fraction, morphology particles porosity permeability, which could guide scientific community further forming rocks network. Results indicated that shape influenced accommodation in porous and, therefore, properties, where an increase decreases increases permeability. Also, obtained showed following features: gas from 10% 17%, mercury 11% 19%, permeability 0.07 mD 0.70 mD, 0.02 0.35 important insight on controlling rocks.
